About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for IFC’s sustainability-focused EDGE Application. You will guide high‑performing teams, strengthen SAFe practices, and support digital solutions that advance climate‑smart and green‑building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Leadership & Delivery

• Lead one or more Agile teams and run all Scrum ceremonies.
• Coach teams on Agile/SAFe principles and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage impediments, risks, and dependencies proactively.

SAFe & Program Alignment

• Collaborate with Product Owners, RTEs, System Architects, and other Scrum Masters.
• Support PI Planning, team coordination, and alignment with program goals.

Azure DevOps Execution

• Configure and manage ADO Boards, workflows, and backlogs.
• Maintain sprint cadence, capacity planning, and work‑item traceability.
• Track and report metrics using ADO Analytics and Power BI.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams.
• Provide clear communication on progress, risks, and delivery updates.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Support UAT, QA collaboration, and post‑release feedback cycles.
• Facilitate retrospectives and implement improvement actions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Scrum Master experience in large, enterprise IT environments.
• Strong expertise in SAFe, PI planning, and multi‑team Agile delivery.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for backlog, sprint, and reporting management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Prior exposure to climate, sustainability, or green-building initiatives (Mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.

Preferred Certifications

• SAFe SSM / SASM
• CSM or equivalent
• PMI‑ACP, PMI‑PBA, CBAP
• LEED, WELL, BREEAM (plus)

Compensation: - $110,000 to $125,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 3/20/2026
