About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Owner to lead end‑to‑end product ownership for IFC’s Climate Portal, a strategic platform supporting Paris Alignment, climate risk, Climate Finance, and GHG assessments. You will define product vision, manage the roadmap, prioritize the backlog, align stakeholders, and ensure delivery of high‑value climate‑related capabilities across IFC’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and maintain the Climate Portal vision and roadmap aligned with IFC climate objectives.
• Translate climate business needs and regulatory commitments into actionable product goals.

Backlog Ownership

• Own and manage epics, features, and user stories within the SAFe framework.
• Prioritize backlog items based on value, risk, and feasibility.

Assessment & Requirements

• Lead assessments to identify capability gaps and enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business users, climate experts, data teams, and architects to define requirements and acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Facilitate workshops, product reviews, and governance discussions.

Agile Delivery Support

• Actively participate in PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and system demos.
• Provide ongoing clarification to ensure accurate feature implementation.

Validation & Value Realization

• Validate delivered functionality against objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Support UAT and measure value delivered through product enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Product Ownership/Product Management for enterprise systems.
• Strong experience with SAFe Agile, including PI planning and backlog management.
• Experience on climate, sustainability, ESG, or environmental data platforms (Mandatory).
• Ability to translate complex regulatory and climate requirements into product features.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working with distributed and offshore/onshore teams.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar product management tools.

Preferred Certifications

• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
• CSPO
• PMI‑ACP, CBAP
• Climate or sustainability certifications (e.g., GHG, ESG, Paris Alignment, etc.)

Compensation: - $110,000 to $140,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 3/20/2026
