Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all site operations, ensuring civil construction activities are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the main point of coordination among architects, structural and MEP engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project; identify potential delays and implement corrective action plans.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare accurate forecasts, and enforce cost-control measures to avoid budget overruns.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise site teams including engineers, supervisors, and workforce to maintain high levels of productivity and compliance.
- Conduct regular quality and safety inspections, ensuring immediate resolution of non-conformities and deviations.
- Review and approve variations, change orders, and claims with proper documentation and impact analysis.
- Chair regular coordination and progress meetings, providing management and stakeholders with detailed reports on performance, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive site records, including progress updates, QA/QC documentation, HSE logs, and material tracking.
- Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all phases of construction.
- Plan and supervise procurement and logistics to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Resolve site-level issues promptly to ensure smooth progress and timely achievement of critical milestones.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 10–15 years of proven experience in civil construction, preferably with top-tier contracting organizations.
- Demonstrated track record in managing large-scale residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.
- Extensive experience in project mobilization and managing large multidisciplinary teams (300+ staff).
- Strong expertise in construction methodologies, site management, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities, with resilience under high-pressure conditions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GCC building codes, regulatory approvals, and safety standards.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
