Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to completion. The Construction Superintendent will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, daily progress photos and videos, change orders, and material inventories.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage on-site construction crews, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and resolve any issues that arise, record daily and prepare reports.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other supervision, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction, including delays, cost overruns, and technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Compliance: Must be able to pass background checks.
- Current and valid drivers license.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget. Must have experience in submittals and RFI's.
- Must be able to read plans and blueprints.
- Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient with Procore preferred.
Certifications:
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate construction sites.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
