Role Purpose
The Construction Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising a team of construction workers on-site, ensuring that all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project plans and schedule. The role acts as the first line of leadership on the construction site, bridging communication between the site workforce and the management team.
Key Accountabilities

Lead and supervise a team of skilled and unskilled workers to execute construction activities on site.

Ensure work is performed in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Allocate tasks to team members and monitor progress to meet daily and weekly targets.

Report progress, delays, or issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.

Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are used efficiently and maintained properly.

Enforce compliance with safety procedures and conduct daily safety briefings.

Assist in solving on-site problems or adjusting work plans as necessary.

Support coordination between various trades (civil, MEP, etc.) to avoid site conflicts.

Maintain discipline and a productive work environment within the team.

Ensure quality of workmanship and report any deviations to supervisors.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree Civil/Arch Engineering.

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction.

Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and site operations.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
