Consultant Physician – Paediatric Endocrinology

A prestigious government healthcare facility in Al Ain is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in Paediatric Endocrinology to join its multidisciplinary team. • Expertise in diagnosing and managing paediatric endocrine disorders such as diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid conditions, adrenal disorders, and puberty-related concerns
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills

• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of endocrine disorders in infants, children, and adolescents
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Manage complex paediatric diabetes cases and endocrine emergencies
• Provide consultations and specialist opinions for referred cases
• Work closely with paediatricians, dietitians, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital clinical governance standards
• Participate in departmental audits, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to medical education programs

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Paediatrics
• Fellowship / Board Certification / CCT in Paediatric Endocrinology
• Valid DOH License / Eligibility or equivalent UAE licensing advantage
• Minimum relevant consultant-level experience in Paediatric Endocrinology
• Strong clinical background in a reputable healthcare setting
