Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level Sports Medicine services in accordance with international best practices.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients and athletes.
• Perform non-surgical interventions and procedures as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, orthopedic specialists, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Advise patients on injury prevention, fitness, exercise programs, and performance enhancement strategies.
• Monitor patient recovery and oversee safe return-to-sport and return-to-activity programs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completion of recognized Residency Training.
• Fellowship, Board Certification, or equivalent Consultant-level qualification in Sports Medicine recognized by UAE healthcare authorities.
• Current Consultant-level experience in Sports Medicine.
• Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Eligibility for licensure in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
