Consumable Controller

· Control and monitor daily/weekly/monthly consumption of operational and maintenance consumables

· Manage consumables such as:

o PPE (helmets, gloves, coveralls, safety shoes)

o Welding rods & gases

o Lubricants, oils, chemicals

o Bolts, nuts, gaskets, seals

o Cleaning materials & hand tools

· Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained

· Maintain accurate stock records in systems.

· Conduct physical stock counts, cycle counts, and audits

· Investigate and report stock variances, losses, or damages

· Ensure proper storage, labeling, and segregation of consumables

· Raise Material Requisition (MR) and coordinate with procurement

· Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times

· Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and HSE teams for requirements

· Support shutdowns and turnarounds with bulk consumables planning

· Monitor consumption trends and identify abnormal usage

· Recommend cost-saving initiatives and alternatives

· Prepare monthly consumption and cost reports

· Ensure compliance with HSE standards for handling and storage

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:
• Supply Chain
• Logistics
• Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
• Business Administration (preferred)

Experience

• 3–7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas / LNG / Petrochemical industry
• Prior experience in Ras Laffan or Qatar Energy projects is a strong advantage
