- Control and monitor all project materials including bulk materials, piping, valves, structural steel, electrical and instrumentation items
- Ensure materials are available at site as per construction priorities and project schedule
- Maintain accurate inventory records in systems.
- Track material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Prevent material shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Logistics teams.
- Support material requirement planning based on drawings and construction schedules.
- Liaise with subcontractors for material allocation and control.
- Participate in weekly material status and coordination meetings.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists
- Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection and release
- Ensure proper storage, preservation, and identification of materials as per project and vendor requirements
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material status reports
- Assist in material reconciliation and close-out at project completion
- Promote safe material handling and storage practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5–10 years experience in material control for Oil & Gas projects
- Previous experience in Ras Laffan or QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred
- Knowledge of LNG project requirements is an advantage.
