Be part of the ambitious team at JTI as a Consumer Activations Associate in HoReCa & Events in Cairo. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing consumer activation initiatives within the HoReCa channel and at consumer & trade events. The role ensures detailed operational execution, effective agency management, and the delivery of premium consumer experiences that drive brand visibility, engagement, and conversion. This position bridges creative planning and field execution, ensuring that every activation reflects the brand’s image and achieves measurable business impact.
As the Retail Consumer Activations Associate, you will:
- Develop, plan, and implement activation strategies tailored to HoReCa environments and event venues
- Develop creative concepts and engagement mechanics that align with brand objectives and target audiences
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Trade, and Brand) to ensure alignment with the overall marketing strategy
- Manage activation budgets efficiently and ensure timely delivery of all activities
- Manage relationships with external event and activation agencies — briefing, supervision, and performance evaluation
- Coordinate all aspects of event execution (from setup to breakdown), ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory guidelines
- Negotiate with vendors, event organizers, and venues to secure efficient execution terms
- Ensure agencies deliver outstanding experiences, on time and within budget
- Recruit, train, and supervise HoReCa and event promoters to guarantee they reflect the brand’s values and provide high-quality consumer engagements
- Monitor promoter performance, providing ongoing feedback and mentoring to maintain activation excellence
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and on-ground operations to ensure seamless delivery
- Cultivate a culture that prioritizes engagement quality and conversion results
- Guarantee flawless activation execution across all events and HoReCa touchpoints
- Supervise setup quality, visibility, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Ensure consistent consumer journey, messaging, and compliance with marketing standards
- Track and analyze event performance metrics, consumer feedback, and return on activation investment
Identify process improvements to improve efficiency and impact for future activations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Proficiency in English is required
- 2–4 years of experience in event marketing, HoReCa activations, or brand experience management (FMCG, lifestyle, or tobacco industry preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage agencies, vendors, and field staff effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Understanding of retail benchmarks, merchandising principles, and brand execution standards
