Internship Details to Know


The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers a hands-on experience inside our rapidly growing multi-category fashion lifestyle brand. We value you. In our program, we are dedicated to shaping your unique interests and career aspirations, equipping you for success in your career and life.


Basics

  • The Kendra Scott Internship experience is a 9-week, paid program with the requirement to be in Austin, TX. The internship will begin on June 1st and end July 30th.
  • This is a full-time, 40/hour a week, in person opportunity. This program will be offered at $17/hour.
  • Please apply to only one internship position that you are most interested in pursuing.
  • Sponsorship and Relocation assistance is not currently provided.
  • The deadline for internship applications is November 23, 2025, at 11:59 pm PST.
  • Candidates will be informed of their status throughout our process, with final offers being extended in December 2025.

Position Overview:

As the Consumer Insights & Engagement Intern, you will partner with the Marketing team to unlock meaningful insights about key customer groups and develop engagement strategies to drive brand growth and loyalty. Reporting to the Marketing Strategy Manager, you’ll gain end-to-end visibility into the marketing process at Kendra Scott – from transforming data points into actionable insights to building emails and text messages that bring those insights to life. You’ll collaborate across teams, working closely with others in Brand, Creative, e-Commerce, Business Intelligence, and IT. This internship offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to flex your curiosity and creativity while exploring the art and science of marketing.


Responsibilities:

Insights:

  • Leverage data in our customer data platform (CDP) to develop insights that inform campaign planning, audience segmentation, and customer experience design

  • Prepare clear, visually compelling presentations that translate complex data into actionable recommendations for key cross-functional teams

  • Identify and help prioritize opportunities to enhance our CDP – whether through new data inputs, refined segmentation models, or additional analytics capabilities

  • Partner with cross-functional partners to interpret trends, measure marketing impact, and support reporting – summarizing learnings to inform future initiatives

  • Maintain and update data in segmentation playbooks to ensure insights remain timely and relevant


Engagement:

  • Build and manage audience segments in our CDP to power targeted marketing campaigns across our digital channels

  • Assist in monthly segmentation and personalization planning for our owned channels (email & SMS) to deliver more relevant and connected customer experiences

  • Partner with e-Commerce and CRM teams on A/B tests and personalized experiences to optimize our customer experience

  • Build marketing emails in our email platform

  • Partner with creative team to ensure visuals align with audience insights

  • Analyze email and SMS performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion, etc.) and summarize insights to identify trends and optimization opportunities

  • Design and brief a data-driven, cross-channel journey that addresses a key need among a specific customer group, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals


Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Advertising, Business Analytics, or a related field

  • Strong interest in consumer behavior, marketing strategy, and CRM

  • Comfortable working with data: analyzing, interpreting, and translating it into meaningful business recommendations

  • Creative thinker and problem-solver, who can translate their vision into actionable steps

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail and storytelling

  • Familiarity or experience with marketing and/or analytics tools a plus (but not required)

  • A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery

  • A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed

  • A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
