Job Overview
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and organized entry-level Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind our digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You will handle everything from scripting and filming to editing, blogging, and managing our online community. To start, you will produce at least 3 videos per week, with the goal of scaling up to one video per day by repurposing long-form content into engaging Shorts and Reels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging stories, produce captivating visuals, and implement impactful campaigns that inspire action and foster brand loyalty. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative content strategies aligned with brand goals across social media, websites, blogs, and e-commerce channels.
- Video Production: Script, film, and edit engaging video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- On-Camera & Behind: Star in videos when needed, and comfortably record/direct others on our team.
- Content Repurposing: Create (minimum of) 3 main videos per week to start, turning long-form videos into daily Shorts/Reels.
- Social Media Management: Post content, write engaging captions, and manage/respond to comments to keep our channels up-to-date.
- Blog Writing: Write a short, engaging blog post for our website to accompany each video topic.
- Photography: Take high-quality, aesthetic photos of flowers and other inventory items for our website and digital catalog.
- Conduct research to gather insights on audience preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform content planning.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) by conducting keyword research and applying best practices to improve organic reach.
- Analyze web analytics through Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign performance and refine future content strategies.
- Coordinate with management for branding consistency and visually appealing content that aligns with campaign themes.
- Manage relationships with influencers, partners, and community members to expand reach and foster engagement.
Requirements
- Strong relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Entry-Level Welcomed: 0–2 years of experience creating content (personal portfolios or school projects count!).
- Video Editing Skills: Proficiency with mobile or desktop editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar).
- Platform Knowledge: Strong familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram trends, sounds, and algorithms.
- Writing Skills: Ability to write conversational video scripts and clear, basic blog posts.
- Eye for Aesthetics: Basic photography skills to capture flowers and products beautifully using a smartphone or camera.
- Reliable & Organized: Ability to manage a steady publishing schedule and hit weekly video targets.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
