Content Creator / Social Media Lead - ScandyCandy

ScandyCandy is looking for a Content Creator / Social Media Lead to help build and manage our social media presence across Instagram and TikTok.

We are a fast-growing Swedish candy brand with stores in Florida, and we are looking for someone who can make our content feel fresh, personal, and highly shareable.

This role is for someone with great taste, a strong understanding of social media, and the ability to turn everyday store moments into content people actually want to watch.

You will be responsible for filming, editing, posting, and helping develop a consistent ScandyCandy voice online. The content should feel natural, fun, polished, and brand-aligned - never corporate or generic.

Responsibilities include:

• Film and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Capture in-store moments, customers, staff, candy walls, products, packaging, and behind-the-scenes content
• Create content ideas that feel current, funny, and engaging
• Help tell the story of ScandyCandy, Swedish candy, and our growing stores
• Write captions in a clear and playful brand voice
• Post consistently and help organize the content calendar
• Stay on top of trends and adapt them in a way that fits the brand
• Help build a recognizable social media identity for ScandyCandy

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong examples of social media content
• Knows how to shoot and edit short-form video
• Understands Instagram, TikTok, trends, hooks, and storytelling
• Has a strong eye for visuals, pacing, humor, and details
• Is comfortable filming people in-store
• Can work independently and bring ideas to the table
• Is organized, creative, reliable, and fast-moving
• Understands food, retail, lifestyle, culture, or consumer brands
