Content Creator / Social Media Manager – Fishing & Outdoor Industry

Responsibilities

• Create and publish a minimum of at least three (3) unique social media posts per week
• Capture high-quality product photography, lifestyle photos, and fishing-related content
• Shoot and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Design graphics, promotional materials, and social media assets
• Write engaging captions, product descriptions, and marketing copy
• Create and maintain product pages on the company website
• Upload product images, specifications, and descriptions to the website
• Collaborate with the team to promote new products, sales, events, and seasonal fishing opportunities
• Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages as needed
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms

Qualifications Required

• Ability to reliably commute to Salem, MA
• Experience with photography and video editing
• Experience creating content for social media platforms
• Experience editing videos for social media and digital marketing
• Experience creating graphics using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet weekly content deadlines
• Basic understanding of website content management and e-commerce product listings

Preferred

• Knowledge of fishing, boating, or outdoor recreation
• Experience BigCommerce e-commerce platforms
• Experience in Meta Pixel and Meta Advantage+ catalog ads
• Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking
• Experience working with outdoor, sporting goods, or lifestyle brands
