Red Star Ironworks is a design-driven metal fabrication shop focused on high-end architectural work. We design and build one-of-a-kind pieces in-house, working closely with architects, designers, and builders. Beyond the work itself, we’re building a creative culture around making—documenting process, sharing ideas, and growing a strong visual brand around real projects.

Job Description

We’re looking for a self-starting content and marketing operator to help build and grow a design-driven metal fabrication company.

This role is focused on turning real work into a consistent, high-quality content engine—and using that content to drive visibility, traffic, and business growth. This is not a passive social media role. The goal is to build a brand that attracts the right clients and projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Capturing content in the shop and on-site (photo + video)
  • Editing and producing short-form and long-form content (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Managing and posting across platforms
  • Developing and executing a content and growth strategy
  • Driving traffic, engagement, and lead generation through content

This is a hybrid role—partly remote, partly on-site. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment and taking ownership of gathering your own content.

What We’re Looking For

  • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
  • Proven ability (or strong instinct) to grow social channels or build an audience
  • Strong video/photo editing and storytelling skills
  • Ability to think strategically about content—not just create it
  • Organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Interest in design, architecture, or building is a big plus

Role Details

  • Part-time or full-time depending on experience and capability
  • Flexible schedule with a mix of remote and on-site work

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
