Job Summary
Join our team as a Content Marketing Intern, collaborating with our marketing and engineering groups to generate and refine AI-developed content for web publication. You'll help research competitors, draft and validate content, manage publishing workflows, and support SEO performance monitoring. You'll also take on a meaningful project that delivers real impact.

Location: (Cookeville, TN)

Duration: One semester (120 days) or summer (flexible, up to 20–30 hrs/week)

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing website and competitor pages to inform messaging strategy.
• Use AI (ChatGPT) to draft content tailored to electrified heat product lines.
• Collaborate with engineering for technical accuracy.
• Review content with marketing leadership for consistency, voice, and branding.
• Publish and submit content for search engine indexing; monitor results.
• Communicate across the marketing team to ensure alignment and exposure.
• Receive mentorship and exposure to marketing workflows—culminating in managing a small “X-project”: ideate, launch, and monitor a value-add initiative during your internship.

Skills

• Proficiency in SEO tools and techniques for conversion optimization.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts including performance marketing and e-commerce strategies.
• Strong copywriting skills for effective content creation.
• Graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Technically curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Gsuite
• Familiarity with web publishing tools (a plus)
• Ability to use AI-generated drafts with critical oversight

Preferred Majors

• Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Technical Writing
• Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical fields
