About the Role:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist with 2+ years of experience to assist with daily execution across content, creative production, and campaign operations.

This role will support our Marketing Director to bring projects to life — from product pages and email banners to social media content and backend updates. While your primary responsibility will be content development and execution, you’ll also act as a reliable backup when priorities shift, launches happen, or coverage is needed. That means being plugged into our systems and ready to keep things moving smoothly.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Frederick, MD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner on brainstorming and executing social campaigns (concept, copy, scheduling).
  • Create visuals and graphics for site promotions, email marketing, and giveaways.
  • Manage and upload product SKUs, imagery, and SEO-friendly descriptions.
  • Format and export creative assets (PNG, webp, PSD) with consistent styling and naming.
  • Write and optimize product descriptions for both SEO and AI-driven search visibility.
  • QA test promotions and web updates before launch.
  • Coordinate with developers, vendors, and outside partners.
  • Help organize files, track campaigns, and support cross-team projects.
  • Contribute to creative calendars, content planning, and campaign materials.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, content, or creative operations.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, social media, and eCommerce content trends.
  • Proficiency with platforms like Canva, ChatGPT, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to switch gears quickly.
  • Keen eye for detail and consistency across creative and data assets.
  • A collaborative mindset and reputation for “getting it done.”

Nice-to-Haves

  • Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Exposure to Magento, Attentive, or similar platforms.
  • Background in eCommerce or merchandising.
  • A sharp creative eye for keeping branding consistent.
  • Experience with print or physical marketing assets (signage, flyers, event handouts).
  • A good sense of humor (and the occasional well-timed meme).
