We’re seeking a Content Specialist who is a sharp, adaptable writer and eager to grow into a broader communications and creative role.

Role Overview

The Content Specialist will begin by writing and publishing blog articles, with opportunities to expand into PR, copywriting, and creative projects. This is an on-site position where you’ll work closely with our marketing and communications team. We want someone who thrives on learning quickly, communicates clearly, and is driven to grow into a versatile communications professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish engaging blog content for ecpi.edu and related channels.
• Research topics and translate complex concepts into clear, accessible writing.
• Collaborate with marketing and SEO teams to align content with audience needs.
• Assist with drafting press releases, newsletters, and marketing copy.
• Support creative and communications projects across the university.
• Maintain high editorial standards, accuracy, and brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of published work.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and explain them clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, hard-working, and eager to learn.
• Honest, reliable, and committed to professional growth.
• Familiarity with SEO, digital content strategy, or PR (a plus but not required).
