Content Writer – SEO Specialist

About the Role:

WebMetric is seeking a results-driven SEO Content Writer Specialist to create high-quality, keyword-optimized content that ranks and drives traffic. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies based on search intent, industry trends, and competitor insights, ensuring every piece of content contributes to measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content planning
• Create SEO focused content such as blog posts, landing pages, website copy, and product descriptions
• Optimize content for on-page SEO including metadata, headings, internal linking, and readability
• Analyze SEO performance metrics and continuously improve content strategies
• Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams for cohesive brand messaging
• Follow the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to maintain strong search rankings
• Repurpose content into short form and social formats while maintaining keyword effectiveness

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SEO content writer or SEO copywriter
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization
• Excellent writing, editing, and grammatical skills
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
• Ability to interpret analytics and SEO reports to support decision-making

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SEMrush, Ubersuggest, and Ahrefs
• Knowledge of basic technical SEO elements (URL structures, schema markup, site performance)
• Understanding of content funnels and conversion-focused copywriting
• Experience with AI writing tools for productivity enhancement
• Strong research skills and ability to simplify complex topics
