We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Engineer to join our Contracts & Commercial team. This role will focus on drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts while ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including construction, procurement, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and legal advisors to ensure contractual terms meet both project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor contract progress to ensure milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Resolve contract discrepancies, amendments, or changes in line with project objectives.
  • Identify and manage contractual risks, implementing strategies to reduce liabilities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  • Follow up with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to confirm obligations are met.
  • Draft and review formal correspondence addressing contractual issues, clarifications, and project updates.
  • Handle claims and dispute resolution processes, coordinating with stakeholders for fair settlements.
  • Maintain thorough records of claims, changes, and resolutions for audits and future reference.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Construction Management preferred) .
  • Completion of CLAC program is preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in contract administration or contract engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian law, FIDIC, construction regulations, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office is required.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
