Job Summary:
The Contract Management Associate is responsible for the end-to-end governance and administration of contracts post-award, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, procurement policies, legal requirements, and commercial objectives. The role safeguards the organization’s commercial, operational, and reputational interests while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring contract performance throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and govern contracts throughout their lifecycle, including initiation, amendments, renewals, and close-outs, in coordination with Legal and relevant stakeholders.

Assist in drafting and reviewing procurement contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with organizational policies.

Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and risk, proactively addressing issues and developing solutions with Procurement stakeholders.

Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding contractual compliance and performance matters, including Local Content.

Coordinate with Finance to ensure payments are processed in accordance with contract terms, including retentions, penalties, and guarantees.

Oversee performance bonds and advance payment guarantees, ensuring proper release upon contract completion.

Ensure compliance with Procurement policies, Delegation of Authority, ethical standards, and legal requirements.

Support audits, governance reviews, and compliance checks related to contracts.

Monitor contract performance in coordination with End Users and ensure proper document archiving, version control, and confidentiality in line with records management policies.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable and effective supplier network.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in contract management or procurement governance.

Professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP are considered an advantage.
