Contract Manager

Location: Mumbai/Remote

Experience Required- 2- 4 Years

Contract Lifecycle Management:

  • Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: Preparing and reviewing contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and meet company standards.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating contract terms and conditions with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Execution: Overseeing the execution of contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to the terms.
  • Compliance: Ensuring contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized records of all contracts and related documentation.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communication: Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, clients, and other parties involved in contracts.
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other departments, such as legal, procurement, and finance, to ensure smooth contract execution.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitoring Contract Performance: Monitoring contract performance and ensuring that all parties are meeting their obligations.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports and providing updates on contract status to management.
  • Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving contract-related issues and disputes.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Contract Analysis: Analysing contracts to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Contract Template Development: Developing and maintaining contract templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Contract Management Systems: Implementing and managing contract management systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Negotiation Skills: The ability to effectively negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential errors or issues in contracts.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve contract-related issues and disputes.
  • Knowledge of Contract Law: A good understanding of contract law and legal principles.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with Contract Management Systems: Experience with using contract management software is a plus.
  • Industry-Specific Knowledge: Depending on the industry, specific knowledge of relevant regulations and standards may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹470,196.91 - ₹1,042,986.44 per year
