Job Summary:
The Contract Specialist will be responsible for supporting the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle. The role requires strong contractual, commercial, and analytical skills to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and business objectives while minimizing contractual risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Administration

Draft, review, analyze, and administer
commercial contracts
, agreements, amendments, and change orders.

Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies, legal standards, and commercial objectives.

Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms, milestones, and obligations.

Manage contract variations, claims, extensions, and dispute-related documentation.
Commercial & Risk Management

Identify contractual and commercial risks and support mitigation strategies.

Support cost control, payment terms, invoicing milestones, and final account closure.

Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, and documentation.
Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with internal stakeholders including
Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Project Management
teams.

Support negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.

Provide contractual guidance and support to project and commercial teams.
Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance requirements.

Prepare contract-related reports and summaries for management review.

Support audits and internal reviews related to contractual matters.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Finance
, or a related field.

5–8 years of experience
in managing
commercial contracts
.

Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
-
Exposure to EPC, construction, engineering, or project-based environments is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously

; knowledge of ERP or contract management systems is an advantage
Preferred Attributes:
