Contractor Billing

The Contractor Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing, reviewing, and submitting invoices for construction or service-related projects. This role ensures that all billing aligns with contract terms, project progress, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction billing, including AIA billing, time and materials (T&M), and progress billing formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients per contract terms.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure billing accuracy.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and accounting teams to gather necessary billing documentation.
• Ensure all supporting documents (e.g., lien waivers, certified payroll, timesheets) are included with invoices when required.
• Track and resolve billing discrepancies, disputed charges, or delayed payments.
• Maintain detailed records of all billed and unbilled items.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and industry standards.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting as it relates to revenue recognition and billing status.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required billing documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
