Contracts Manager, PDS Projects

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to administer and manage all contractual aspects of construction and development projects throughout their complete lifecycle. This role serves as the primary contractual point of contact, ensuring compliance with agreements while protecting client interests and maximizing value realization across diverse commercial frameworks.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and supervise Construction/Building Contract(s) and Consultancy Service Agreements
Ensure all project parties meet their contractual obligations
Provide professional administrative oversight to avoid delays and maintain project progress
Establish and implement change-control procedures
Review and prioritize all notified changes based on programme impact
Administer variation order approval process and prepare Request for Change/Approval forms
Coordinate with supervision and cost consultants for technical assessments
Chair and manage Change Management meetings
Close out and agree variations with stakeholders
Maintain comprehensive tracking logs for all notices and responses
Keep detailed records of documents, correspondences, schedules, and reports to support Employer's position
Manage and resolve claims and disputes in a timely manner
Mediate Contractor claims
Provide contractual and technical assessments for Extension of Time (EOT) claims
Prepare technical assessments using Time Impact Analysis and SCL Protocol methodologies
Issue contractual responses to Contractors while reserving Employer's rights
Manage all contractual correspondence and information distribution
Prepare contractual letters to Contractors/Consultants
Collate information and prepare reports for Employer submission

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
Minimum 5-7 years of contract administration experience in construction/development projects
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, or similar)
Experience with various commercial models (GMP, lump sum, remeasurement)
Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred
