Job Title: Contracts & Procurement Manager.

Job Description:

A highly skilled Contracts & Procurement Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and contract management within the organization. Ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, manages vendor relationships, negotiates contracts, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, evaluation, selection, and negotiation.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Liaise with legal teams and senior stakeholders on contract risks, terms, and obligations.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier/vendor relationships to ensure quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets and generate cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on spend analysis, supplier performance, and contract status.
  • Ensure all procurement and contracting activities are compliant with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to support procurement activities for large-scale projects.
  • Resolve disputes or issues related to suppliers, contracts, or deliveries.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, PMP, or equivalent are an advantage
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in industrial, construction, or oil & gas sectors
