Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cook / Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and breakfast area, and ensuring guests receive excellent hospitality service each morning.

The ideal candidate should be reliable, organized, able to work early morning shifts, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up daily breakfast items according to hotel standards
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, breakfast area, and storage areas
  • Monitor food inventory and notify management of low-stock items
  • Follow all food safety and health regulations
  • Restock breakfast items during service hours
  • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations after service
  • Assist guests professionally and courteously
  • Follow hotel attendance, scheduling, and company policies
  • Work cooperatively with hotel management and team members

Qualifications

  • Previous cooking, kitchen, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
  • Must maintain professional appearance and dependable attendance
  • Food handling knowledge is preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for long periods
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to work in hot kitchen environments

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
