Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Planning & Implementation
- Develop and implement term-wise academic plans, schemes of work, and lesson structures in alignment with school standards.
- Ensure the curriculum integrates core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Urdu, and Islamic Studies) with skill-based learning and activity-based methodologies.
- Update and align instructional materials, textbooks, and digital content to meet learning outcomes.
- Coordinate the development of enrichment and remedial programs for diverse learners.
2. Teacher Supervision & Support
- Conduct regular classroom observations to monitor teaching quality, lesson delivery, and student engagement.
- Provide academic mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback to teachers.
- Arrange teacher training sessions and workshops on pedagogy, classroom management, and assessment techniques.
- Ensure timely submission of lesson plans, diaries, and teaching aids.
3. Assessment & Academic Monitoring
- Develop and monitor the assessment policy for the primary section.
- Supervise paper setting, moderation, and marking processes to ensure fairness and alignment with learning objectives.
- Analyze student performance data to identify gaps and recommend intervention plans.
- Ensure consistency in report cards, grading, and progress tracking.
4. Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between teachers, school leadership, and parents.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings to discuss academic progress and classroom challenges.
- Facilitate smooth execution of academic and co-curricular activities.
- Support parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) and provide academic feedback and recommendations.
5. School Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Contribute to school-wide academic reviews and development plans.
- Maintain documentation of lesson plans, assessment records, and progress reports.
- Ensure academic discipline and adherence to school values, policies, and protocols.
- Support innovation in teaching and curriculum design through collaboration and research.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in primary grades with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
