Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development & Implementation:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum.
- Ensure alignment with educational standards and school policies.
- Recommend improvements and updates to course content and teaching materials.
- Teacher Support & Training:
- Provide professional development and training sessions for teachers.
- Offer guidance on teaching methodologies, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Observe classes and provide constructive feedback to educators.
- Student Academic Performance:
- Monitor and assess student performance through exams, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop strategies to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Address academic concerns and provide support programs where needed.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain academic records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations.
- Coordinate scheduling, examinations, and grading procedures.
- Parental & Stakeholder Communication:
- Engage with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Work with school leadership to improve academic policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external education bodies when necessary.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to national and international academic standards.
- Conduct periodic evaluations and audits of academic programs.
- Implement improvement plans based on feedback and performance analysis.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in an academic or teaching role, with leadership experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in curriculum planning and assessment techniques.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and motivate faculty and students.
- Knowledge of modern teaching strategies and educational technologies.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time position, typically within school hours, with occasional after-school meetings and training sessions.
- Interaction with teachers, students, parents, and school leadership.
