Copy Editor

We are looking for a skilled Copy Editor to join our team on a contract basis in Torrance, California. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in copywriting and editing, particularly for digital and promotional content. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment across all deliverables.

Responsibilities:
• Review and refine digital advertisements and related assets to ensure messaging aligns with brand standards and style guides.
• Seek clarification on project requirements by asking insightful questions and utilizing approved resources for accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to make timely adjustments to content.
• Maintain a meticulous and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.
• Build strong communication channels with stakeholders to gather input, clarify expectations, and deliver satisfactory results.
• Edit a variety of content types, including social media posts, while adhering to established editorial guidelines.
• Ensure all materials are consistent with brand voice by referencing past examples and style guides.
• Quickly assess and refine materials for accuracy and coherence while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in copywriting and copy editing, with expertise in digital and promotional content.
• Demonstrated ability to write and edit compelling ad copy and email content.
• Strong familiarity with editorial style guides and brand voice standards.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a detail-oriented approach.
• Previous experience in healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries is a plus.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality, accurate deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
