COPYWRITER

Location: Los Angeles, California

Compensation Range: $43 - 48 per hour

Are you ready to be the voice behind one of the world's largest membership programs? We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our passionate and collaborative creative team. You'll create marketing copy that balances key program messages and benefits with thoughtful storytelling, helping members understand how a membership can help them save money and live better.

This is a temporary position for the holiday through the end of January 2026. The ideal candidate will be a true team player with a positive, can-do attitude who can work autonomously and quickly pivot based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content: Write compelling copy that speaks to the heart of who our customers are while highlighting the benefits of a membership. This includes content for a wide range of assets like paid and owned social media channels, websites, emails, digital ads, and in-store signage.
• Understand the brand: Gain a deep understanding of our brand's core principles, the membership program's benefits, and our creative voice, tone, and style guides. Apply this knowledge to craft copy that supports business goals.
• Manage multiple projects: Work on various copy projects with different timelines and varying levels of complexity.
• Collaborate effectively: Partner with designers and other team members to develop creative solutions. Incorporate feedback from marketers, site managers, and editors.
• Be proactive: Attend project kick-off meetings, ask proactive questions, and anticipate the information needed to create effective copy.

Qualifications:

• You have a bachelor's degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, English, or a related field with at least one year of copywriting experience, or two or more years of copywriting experience.
• You have two or more years of copywriting experience in an e-commerce or creative agency environment.
• You can create detail-oriented copy that balances program and legal requirements with a conversational, storytelling approach.
• Experience with loyalty or membership programs is a plus!
