The Corporate Fundraising Specialist is responsible for securing financial and in-kind support from corporations and business partners. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate donors, creating tailored fundraising proposals, managing sponsorship packages, and ensuring donor stewardship. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams (communications, programs, and finance) to align corporate giving with organizational priorities and impact goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage potential corporate donors and partners.
  • Develop customized sponsorship and partnership proposals.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with corporations aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Meet or exceed annual corporate fundraising targets.
  • Negotiate sponsorship and cause-marketing agreements.
  • Leverage corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends to position the organization as a partner of choice.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring regular communication and stewardship.
  • Deliver impact reports, recognition activities, and visibility opportunities for corporate donors.
  • Organize donor engagement events, site visits, and networking opportunities.
  • Work with communications and marketing teams to create co-branded campaigns.
  • Coordinate with finance and programs teams to track donor commitments, deliverables, and reporting.
  • Provide input for annual fundraising strategy and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records in donor databases/CRM systems.
  • Track KPIs (funds raised, donor retention, new partnerships).
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and the board.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fundraising, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, or sales (nonprofit sector experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to secure and grow corporate partnerships.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft compelling proposals.
  • Project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and donor CRM/database systems.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate across departments.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and donor-centric mindset.
