As Esenyel Partners Law Firm, we are looking for a ‘ Corporate Lawyer ’ with solid transactional experience to join a new and dynamic team working closely.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, preferably a master’s degree (graduated) in Law.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, focusing on transactions, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and data privacy regulations.

• Experienced in working in a crowded and busy law office.

• Deep knowledge of securities regulations, corporate governance principles, and commercial law, with added expertise in KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law in Turkey) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

• Proven ability to handle data privacy compliance projects, including drafting data protection agreements, conducting impact assessments, and advising on regulatory requirements.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal concepts in an accessible and professional manner.

• Proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to foresee potential legal issues and provide practical solutions.

• Strong leadership and project management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.

• Fluency in spoken and written Turkish and English; additional language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating, and executing a wide range of commercial contracts, including those involving data privacy considerations.

• Providing legal advice on corporate law, commercial law, and data privacy regulations (KVKK & GDPR).

• Conducting due diligence in corporate projects, with a focus on ensuring compliance with data privacy laws.

• Staying updated on new legislation, particularly related to corporate law and data privacy, and advising on draft laws.

• Conducting legal research on both corporate and data protection matters.

• Monitoring and implementing compliance frameworks for KVKK and GDPR, including policies and training.

• Assisting senior lawyers and team leaders in complex legal matters.

• Handling day-today corporate affairs, such as organizing general assembly meetings and ensuring corporate governance compliance.

• Collaborating with cross functional teams to provide insights on legal risks related to commercial and privacy matters.
