Corporate Receptionist

We are seeking a polished and highly professional Corporate Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face and voice of a prestigious, high-end professional services firm in New York City. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of first impressions and takes pride in delivering exceptional service in a refined corporate environment. Professionalism, presentation, discretion, and strong communication skills are essential.


As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, you will greet guests warmly and ensure a seamless arrival experience from the moment they enter the office. You will manage incoming calls with efficiency and accuracy, transfer calls appropriately, take detailed messages, and respond promptly to inquiries. Acting as a central communication hub, you will relay information via phone, email, and in person while maintaining accurate appointment schedules and visitor logs to support smooth daily operations.


In addition to front desk responsibilities, you will provide administrative support by sorting and distributing mail and deliveries, maintaining organized records and files, and monitoring office supply inventory to ensure the office runs efficiently. You will also assist with coordinating meetings, conferences, and company events by scheduling rooms and ensuring spaces are properly prepared.


Maintaining security and confidentiality is critical in this role. You will monitor visitor access, follow established security protocols, and respond calmly and professionally to any incidents or emergencies. Participation in ongoing training and professional development programs is expected to ensure continued excellence in service delivery.


Location: New York City, NY

Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of corporate reception or front desk experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Impeccable professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Client-first mentality with strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
