Responsible for the coordination and delivery of corporate training programs. Evaluate effectiveness of training programs such as Orientation, WOW, New Supervisor/Manager training etc. and update training as appropriate to maximize effectiveness. Assist, at times, the Corporate Training Manager in the development of our WOW Guest Service Training Modules. This position will require regular, frequent travel to all Elite Casino Resorts properties.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all internal and external customers.
  • Assist in designing of training programs utilizing best practices in adult learning theory with a variety of instructional techniques ensuring content is based on current research and best practices.
  • Facilitate training programs to help develop all levels of staff, to include guest service skills and department-specific training needs.
  • Create training delivery methods that balance the needs/learning styles of participants with the demands of the business and work environment, to include classroom, virtual, computer-based/online or blended learning.
  • Effectively facilitate in-person training programs to include both small and large group settings, which may include topics for which the trainer is not yet a subject matter expert.
  • Evaluate training needs of departments and recommend curriculum, ORG’s, etc. to meet that need.
  • Provide both positive and negative feedback to leadership and staff at each property.
  • Partner with property HR Directors to support the corporate training processes, to include coordination of corporate training programs, new hire orientation, and consultation of on site-specific training needs.
  • Travel to other ECR properties on a regular basis to deliver corporate training curriculum.
  • Coordinate any externally provided training, working with vendors on all training content and logistics.
  • Keeps current on training best practices through affiliated organizations, continuing education seminars and workshops.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in related work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience facilitating group training.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in creating group training programs, to include application of adult learning principles.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience creating successful on-line and/or blended learning programs.
  • Prior experience utilizing training applications, such as MS PowerPoint and spreadsheet applications, such as MS Excel.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public/group speaking.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to deliver training to a 24/7/365 work environment, to include frequent travel to other ECR properties.
