About the Role:

Reef Holding is seeking an experienced and strategic Cosmetics Section Head to lead the development of the company’s cosmetics products. This role is responsible for setting and executing a comprehensive product development strategy, driven by market trends, innovation, and quality excellence, to ensure strong brand competitiveness in the cosmetics sector.

The role involves overseeing the full product lifecycle from concept and formulation to launch and post-launch evaluation while ensuring alignment with brand strategy, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop cosmetics product strategies and roadmaps:

• Prepare and lead annual product development roadmaps aligned with brand strategy and growth plans.
• Analyze global and regional cosmetics trends (ingredients, formulations, usage patterns) and translate insights into viable product opportunities.

Lead product development and formulation processes:

• Oversee formulation development in collaboration with laboratories and manufacturing partners.
• Review and approve final product samples prior to commercial production.
• Supervise pilot production stages to ensure quality and performance standards.

Manage cross-functional coordination:

• Coordinate with design and creative teams to develop packaging and visual identity aligned with the brand.
• Work closely with marketing teams to ensure product positioning and messaging consistency.

Ensure quality, compliance, and performance:

• Monitor compliance with local and international cosmetics safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate suppliers and manufacturers based on quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Analyze product performance post-launch (sales, customer feedback, technical insights) and propose continuous improvements.

Reporting and leadership:

• Lead and guide cosmetics development teams throughout all project phases.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management on development progress, product performance, and future opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Cosmetics Science, Chemistry, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cosmetics product development and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetics formulations, ingredients, and industry trends.
• Experience working with laboratories, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strategic deadlines.
