Cost Accountant

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost control with F&B sector background
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting principles
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with POS (Point of Sale) and ERP system

Key Responsibilities:

• Track actual costs vs. budgeted figures across departments or projects. Investigate cost variances and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends. Support long-term planning and resource allocation
• Maintain detailed records of expenditures and commitments. Ensure all costs are accurately recorded in ERP and POS systems.
• Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize spending
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with financial policies
• Present cost analysis and insights to management
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes
