Job Summary
The Cost Management Accountant is responsible for planning, analyzing, and controlling company costs to ensure effective budgeting, cost efficiency, and sustained profitability. This role plays a key part in monitoring production costs, preparing detailed cost reports, and supporting management in strategic financial decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesCost Control & Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Prepare detailed product and project cost sheets.
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze standard costs against actual performance and report findings.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Monitor departmental budgets and ensure effective cost control.
- Support management with financial planning and cost projections.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Conduct inventory reconciliations and participate in physical stock counts.
- Ensure appropriate costing methods are applied (FIFO / Weighted Average).
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly cost and management reports.
- Support the preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain accurate costing records within the ERP system (Odoo preferred).
Internal Control & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain proper documentation of cost accounting procedures and controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CMA or ACCA certification is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.(Required)
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and variance analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
