Cost Control Engineer - (EPC)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost budgets, forecasts, and reports.

• Track project costs vs. budgets; conduct variance and trend analysis.

• Report progress, man-hours, costs, and schedule status.

• Assess cost impacts of changes and scope variations.

• Support risk assessment, contingency planning, and cost mitigation.

• Collaborate with project, procurement, and finance teams.

• Enhance cost control tools and reporting systems (Excel, Primavera, Power BI).

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

• Proficient in Excel, MSP, Primavera P6; Power BI desirable.

• Knowledge of Change Management, Risk/Opportunity Management, and EVM.

• Problem-solving, leadership, and time-management skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8–12 years//' cost control experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, or Processing industries.

• Advanced Excel and cost database expertise.

• EPCM/EPC project cost control experience.

• Primavera P6 (Unifier desirable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor//'s degree in Engineering.

• PMP/Project Management certifications (advantageous).

• Familiarity with dashboard tools (Power BI or similar).
