About the role

As we continue to expand our portfolio of projects, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Specialist to join our Finance team and play a key role in managing financial governance, project budgets, and cost efficiency across Amali’s developments.

• Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets and timelines.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost forecasts, and variance analyses in coordination with the Finance and Project Management teams.
• Review payment applications, progress claims, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.
• Maintain comprehensive cost databases and financial dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow projections, highlighting key variances and risks.
• Support the Director of Finance in conducting financial reviews, audits, and budget reconciliations.
• Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and project teams to ensure effective cost allocation and control processes.

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in cost control or project finance, ideally within real estate development, construction, or contracting environments.
• Proven expertise in project budgeting, cost forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or Yardi) and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and financial acumen.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and finance teams.
