Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Cost Estimation Engineer to handle project costing and budgeting for interior design and fit-out projects. The role requires preparing cost estimates, analyzing material and labor requirements, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the management team in tendering and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Calculate quantities of materials, manpower, and resources required for projects.
• Collect and analyze quotations from vendors/subcontractors and prepare rate comparisons.
• Prepare detailed cost sheets, rate analysis, and pricing for client proposals.
• Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams for technical and commercial alignment.
• Monitor and update material and labor costs to maintain an updated rate database.
• Assist in tendering, bidding, and negotiation processes.
• Support project managers in cost control, budgeting, and value engineering.
• Ensure timely submission of estimates and adherence to company standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of estimation and costing in interior design, modular furniture, or fit-out industry.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, civil, electrical, and MEP works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software/tools.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Interior Design (or equivalent).
• 2–6 years of experience in cost estimation and project costing in the interior design / fit-out industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
