Counter Sales Executive

Job Summary

Counter Sales Executive assists customers at the sales counter by providing product information, handling sales transactions, and ensuring smooth and friendly customer experience. This role requires good communication skills, basic product knowledge, and a customer-focused approach to help achieve sales targets and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities -

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Respond to customer queries and handle complaints or returns efficiently with the support of the In-charge.

Sales & Transactions:

  • Process sales accurately using the POS system.
  • Maintain proper records of sales and cash transactions.
  • Promote products, offers, and suggest additional items to customers when possible.

Product Knowledge & Inventory:

  • Maintain good knowledge of products and services offered.
  • Monitor stock levels at the counter and inform the in-charge or warehouse for replenishment when needed.
  • Assist in stock checks and basic inventory management.

Store Maintenance & Display:

  • Keep the counter clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Help arrange products for display and promotional setups.
  • Follow company guidelines for safety, hygiene, and security.

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Report daily sales, stock issues, and customer feedback to the In-charge or Manager.
  • Coordinate with other departments for special orders or customer requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Prior experience in retail or counter sales is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills (POS systems, MS Office).
  • Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • May require standing for long periods.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer requests at the same time.
  • May involve handling light to medium weight products.
  • Handle additional tasks assigned by management as needed

Remuneration:

  • AED 2,000 – 3,000 per month (depending on experience).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
