We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and customer-oriented individual to join our bakery outlet as a Counter Staff – Sales Assistant. This dual-role position involves attending to customers, managing bakery sales, and preparing and serving a variety of coffee and hot beverages. You will play a key role in ensuring a pleasant customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Assist customers with selecting bakery products and beverages
• Provide product information, including ingredients and pricing
• Upsell and promote daily specials or new products
• Pack and serve bakery items hygienically and attractively
• Handle billing and process cash, card, and digital payments
• Maintain accurate daily sales records
• Keep the counter, display, and work area clean and organized
• Receive customer feedback and report concerns to the outlet manager

Coffee Making & Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks (e.g., cappuccino, latte, americano)
• Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders properly
• Follow standard recipes for consistent taste and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the beverage preparation area
• Refill milk, coffee beans, cups, and other supplies as needed
• Ensure quick service, especially during busy hours

Requirements:

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in food or beverage service
• Barista or coffee preparation experience is an advantage
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude
• Basic math and billing skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays
