Creative Media Session Lead

Who’s to Say ? Foundation is building a creative media studio for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to help participants explore content creation, storytelling, gaming, photography, music, and digital media in a way that builds confidence, communication, independence, and creative identity.

We are looking for a hands-on creative person to help us film, capture, and shape content during real creative sessions.

This is not a traditional social media job. This role is about helping capture authentic moments, working directly with participants, and helping turn creative sessions into short-form videos, stories, photo posts, behind-the-scenes content, and repeatable media projects.

What You’ll Do

You may help with:

• Filming unscripted content with participants and families
• Capturing natural moments between participants
• Helping participants feel comfortable on camera
• Recording simple interviews, reactions, activities, gaming moments, and creative projects
• Creating short-form video drafts for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Organizing clips, photos, and project files in Google Drive
• Helping build simple repeatable templates in CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
• Supporting creative sessions where participants learn basic media skills
• Helping document what works so the foundation can grow its media team over time

Who This Is For

This could be a great fit for someone who is:

• A young creator, film student, media student, photographer, editor, or content freelancer
• Comfortable with phone-based video, CapCut, Canva, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Warm, patient, flexible, and comfortable working with people with disabilities
• Good at making people feel seen without being fake or overly scripted
• Interested in storytelling, community, sports, gaming, music, photography, or nonprofit work
• Reliable, organized, and willing to help build systems as we grow

What Matters Most

We care more about connection, creativity, and reliability than fancy equipment.

The right person will be able to:

• Connect naturally with Matt and other participants
• Capture real moments without over-directing
• Stay organized with files and follow a simple workflow
• Take feedback well
• Understand that all public content must be reviewed and approved before posting

Starting Structure

This will begin as a paid pilot role.

Possible schedule:

• 1–2 sessions per week
• 2–4 hours per session
• Additional editing/project organization time as needed

Compensation will depend on experience, but we expect this to begin as a part-time contractor role.
