Job Title: Creative Videographer

Reports To: CentralCreative Director

Position Overview: The Creative Videographer supports the Central Creative Director and Communications Coordinator in executing videography projects at The Courageous Church. This role focuses on assisting with pre-production, production, and post-production to create content that helps people connect with Christ and community.

This is a part-time, hourly position centered on content curation, creation, collaboration, and execution.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Execute videography projects through pre-production (scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, cast and crew communication), production (filming and audio recording), and post-production (video and audio editing, color grading, motion graphics, music selection)
• Collaborate with the Central Creative Director to carry out video concepts and deliver high-quality final content
• Work with the Communications team to help ensure story, tone, voice, and visual style align with the intended audience and brand
• Support content creation and formatting for social media platforms in collaboration with the Social Media Content team
• Work with the Graphics team to incorporate animated text and graphic elements into video projects as needed
• Maintain organized project folders and ensure files are labeled and stored correctly
• Assist in preparing gear, locations, and assets needed for shoots
• Provide practical support to volunteers serving on video projects as directed
• Oversee b-roll capture + archive, including scheduling volunteers for Sundays and Events as needed
• Capture video b-roll, social media content, or photography across various locations of The Courageous Church, as assigned

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Proficiency with all steps of the video production process
• Knowledge of camera, lighting, and sound equipment
• Project and file management skills
• Ability to be detailed and organized while working within strict deadlines

Schedule Expectations

• This is a part-time hourly role up to 30/hours week with a schedule of one full office day a week: 9A-3P (T, W, or Th)
• Sunday from 7A–1P
• Logged project hours
• Additional hours may occasionally be requested based on special events, holiday programming, content shoots, or ministry needs.
