Credit Analyst

Job Purpose: Develop robust financial management reports for covering key financial and non-financial KPIs; including cash flow forecast. Maintain the ERP systems, carry out monthly general ledger closing. Produce financial statements in line with IFRS/IAS. Coordinate with External and Internal auditors for timely completion of Audit. Ensure timely VAT reporting and adherence to the VAT regulations. Preparation of Corporate tax returns. This includes providing support in day-to day activities to develop capabilities and enhance professional knowledge

Key Tasks
Audit Process: Coordinates with external audits to facilitate timely completion of interim and final audits.

Accounting: Ensure adequate recording of investments, loans, overdraft (OD), fixed assets and complex derivative as per International Accounting Standard (IAS/IFRS). Monitor all transactions raised by the Team to ensure accuracy of transactions. Prepares timely Group Vat returns and works with Group Controller to ensure compliance.

Support team with year-end valuations, IT developments and other accounting initiatives

Management Reporting: Develop robust financial management reports for covering key financial and non-financial KPIs. Consolidate individual BU reports prepared by BU teams into overall Group report

Improve focus on cash flow reporting. Develop tools to improve automation and impact of reporting. Ensure timely delivery of re-occurring /adoc reports with accuracy.

Statutory Reporting : Produce financial statements in line with IFRS/IAS

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop robust group forecasts, in particular cash flow forecasts, consolidating individual BU forecast into over Group position. Maintain close relationship with Group Treasury on future cash flows.

For new business development opportunities not under the remit of BUs, assist Group Controller on Investment Analysis (IRR, NOV etc).

System Maintenance: Ensure Group ERPs and Qlik Sense are functional, covering the key requirements of the Group. Maintain a proper chart of accounts in the ERP system to ensure proper accounting systems are in place.

Ensure availability of real time financial information in Qlik Sense (BI) reporting tools, with proper mapping.
