Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers to complete landscape maintenance, planting, lawn care, and construction projects efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
• Oversee landscape installation activities including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing irrigation systems.
• Perform quality control checks on completed work to ensure it meets client specifications and aesthetic standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly used, cleaned, and stored after each job.
• Provide mentorship and training to crew members on horticulture best practices, landscaping techniques, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, or related fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
• Supervising or leadership experience managing teams in outdoor or construction settings.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, irrigation installation, tree care, and general garden maintenance.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping or site preparation.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently; certifications in equipment operation are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate team members and liaise with clients or project managers. Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
