Criminal Paralegal (Full-Time)

We are a growing criminal and immigration law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation and compassionate service to our clients. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Criminal Paralegal to join our dynamic team and support our attorneys in managing an active criminal caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and calendar litigation deadlines, hearings, and case updates.
• Prepare and file routine motions and legal documents.
• Schedule client meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Communicate professionally with prosecutors, court staff, and clients.
• Organize and manage client files to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with legal assistants to ensure timely and effective client communication.
• Provide interpretation and translation support for attorneys as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year experience as a paralegal in criminal defense
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with diverse, multilingual clients.
• Spanish language proficiency highly preferred.
