Position Overview
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is looking for a motivated Crisis and Business Continuity Specialist to enhance its safety and risk programs. This role is vital for strengthening Dubai s transport resilience by supporting the design and execution of business continuity plans, crisis preparedness, and emergency response protocols, all in compliance with global standards.
 
Core Duties
 
* Assist in establishing crisis and continuity management systems based on ISO 22301, ISO 22399, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001.
* Support department-wide emergency drills, simulation exercises, and staff awareness campaigns.
* Evaluate and quantify risks, identify impacts, and support mitigation strategies.
* Participate in preparing manuals, operational frameworks, and internal policies.
* Ensure seamless coordination during real-time crises and maintain readiness of the Crisis Operation Center.
* Help design improvement plans and benchmark performance with international best practices.
* Collaborate with safety teams across RTA to standardize procedures and enhance system compliance.
* Prepare regular reports, presentations, and KPI assessments to support executive decision-making.
* Review audit outcomes and help implement follow-up actions for continuous improvement.
 
Ideal Profile
 
* Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Aviation) or IT from an accredited university.
* 0 2 years of experience in safety, engineering, or risk management roles.
* Basic understanding of emergency response protocols and international safety regulations.
* Ability to analyze complex data and communicate recommendations clearly.
* Strong MS Office skills and documentation proficiency.
* Organized, proactive, and able to handle dynamic field operations.
