CRM Manager

Department: Sales Operations
Reports To: Line Manager

Contract Type: Contractor
Salary: 200 GBP

Role Purpose

The CRM Manager is responsible for the overall governance, administration, and optimisation of SolarTech’s CRM systems. This includes ensuring data integrity, SLA compliance, automation performance, reporting accuracy, and seamless integration with Microsoft 365.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Governance & Administration

Manage daily CRM operations, roles/permissions, compliance (GDPR/audits), lead assignments, and SLA escalations.

  • Data Integrity & Hygiene

Run monthly audits; ensure data accuracy, completeness, no duplicates, mandatory fields, and user compliance; oversee fair tracking.

  • Issue Management & Escalation

Maintain issue log, track SLA breaches/automation failures, escalate per SOP, and coordinate with CRM vendors.

  • Reporting & Analytics

Prep weekly performance inputs; handle monthly exports, dashboard updates, and flag risks/pipeline/automation issues.

  • Automation & Continuous Improvement

Monitor/refine automations (assignments/reminders/trackers); test/deploy workflows; recommend improvements from trends/audits.

  • Collaboration & Support

Assist Marketing/Sales with queries/training/compliance; handle audit comms; liaise with Sales/IT/vendors.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Microsoft 365 expertise.
  • Data governance, GDPR, and compliance awareness.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (BI dashboards, Excel, Power BI).
  • Problem-solving and escalation management.
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in CRM management, sales operations, or IT systems administration.
  • Track record of implementing CRM workflows and automation.
  • Experience in B2B sales environments.
  • Familiarity with SLA monitoring, audit processes, and performance reporting.
